Morning: Departure from Arusha
- 7:00 AM: Your day trip begins with an early morning departure from Arusha. You’ll be picked up from your hotel or a designated meeting point by your tour guide or driver. Make sure you have comfortable clothing, sturdy walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera to capture the beautiful moments.
- 8:30 AM: Arrive at Materuni Village – Materuni is a charming village located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll start your day here with a warm welcome from the local Chagga people.
Activities at Materuni Village:
- 9:00 AM: Coffee Farm Tour – Begin your adventure with a visit to a local coffee farm. You’ll learn about the coffee cultivation process, from planting the seeds to harvesting the beans. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee made from the beans right there.
- 10:30 AM: Hike to Materuni Waterfalls – After the coffee farm tour, embark on a guided hike to Materuni Waterfalls. The hike takes you through lush greenery, banana and coffee plantations, and the beautiful Chagga countryside. Your guide will share information about the local flora and fauna along the way.
Waterfall Activities:
