Zanzibar Overview
Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous archipelago located 6 degrees south of the Equator and 22 miles off the cost of East Africa. It comprises the islands of Unguja, Pemba and a number of smaller islands and collectively they form part of Tanzania, East Africa. The total population of Zanzibar is approximately 1.1 Million people and the economy is largly based on agriculture athough tourism has become a strong contributor to the economy in the last few years.
Zanzibar’s rich heritage of culture, defined as Swahili, meaning “coastal”, is a blend of influences from the African mainland and the nations bordered by the Indian Ocean all the way to China. Influences range from the early settlers from Africa’s interior to early sea-faring Assyrians, Sumerians, Egyptians, Phoenicians, to later day Persians, Omanis, Indians, Chinese, Portuguese and the English.

DAY 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
Upon arrival, your holiday and Excursion guide will meet you at the airport you will then be transferred to your hotel followed by briefing later in the evening
DAY 2: Lovely Zanzibar and Dolphin Tour
Today at 8:30 am you will be taken by the guide for a trip to dolphin watching tour, a day trip to Kizimkazi, wonderful you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle-nose dolphins playing off Kizimkazi beach & give you chance to experience special natural message in the Indian ocean, at 2:30pm driving to Jozani forest tour for red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest and the living spieces of fish under nealth. If time allows you will visit Zala Park to learn on how local people become creative to protect the natural living reptiles, and back to town for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: Full Day relaxation by the beach
DAY 4: Zanzibar and Safari Blue excursion to Mnemba Island
After Breakfast our guide will pick you and take you together with others on a full day tour by dhow to visit an Island where you will spend the day sailing, snookering and swimming with the dolphins in the serene Indian Ocean. Seafood and barbecue luncheon will be served in the white sandy island as u relax and get a chance to network with other holiday makers in this excursion from all over the world. then return to the hotel for further relaxation and freshening up.
DAY 5: Zanzibar and sunset cruise
You may spend the whole day as you please. In the evening, our tour guide will pick you from the hotel together with others and take you to the beach where you will take a motor boat or dhow to enjoy a sunset cruise to enjoy sun down at the best view point as drinks and snacks will be served. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 6: Stone town tour
After breakfast, stone town tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit – Al-Ajab), old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian Dispensary (cultural centre) at 2:00pm transfer to North or East coast hotel via Maruhubi Palace ruins, Living Stone House and to the Spice tour on this tour you wil see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island
Day 7: Departure
As the holiday ends, you will be picked up from the hotel transfer to the harbour /airport for departure.
