Not only will you visit Arusha National Park,  Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Hardzabe tribe – Lake Eyasi and Mto Wa Mbu Masai culture apart from you’ll also have the chance to experience a little Tanzanian culture with an authentic Hadzabe bushmen hunting experience.

Details of Seven Day Karibu Tanzania Safari

 

Arrival

Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by Unbelievable  Africa Expeditions representative and transferred to your Lodge where the remainder of the day is at leisure, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or explore Arusha and the surrounding areas on one of our day tours, the choice is yours!!

Day 2

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart from Two mountains Luxury lodge and drive to the park.

Game Drive: You embark on a full day game drive through the park. Your drive will pass you past park landmarks such as the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater – sometimes known as ‘Little Ngorongoro’.

Canoe Safari: Available at extra cost, you’ll trade the car for a canoe as you take a guided canoe safari out on the Momella Lakes to see bushbuck, giraffes, hippos, and buffalo.

Walking Safari: Available at your safari package , Stretch your legs with a guided walking safari through the park. While on your walking safari, you can expect to see endless acres of forest, home to black and white colobus monkeys, zebras, buffalos, and a variety of antelopes. You will also have a chance to observe more than 400 bird species including the Crowned Eagle, Lanner Falcon, and Levaillants Cuckoo.

You’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon with a head full of memories and a camera full of unforgettable photos

Day 3

 

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

 

After breakfast you will be picked by Unbelievable Africa  guide drive West across the Great Rift

Valley arriving in Tarangire National Park, with packed lunch for mid-morning to start our first game drive, experiencing large group of elephants enjoy the Game drive

Day 4

Karatu Village – Serengeti National Park

 

After breakfast we will start our journey driving via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving along the rim of the crater and through the Western Highlands out onto the endless plains of the Serengeti. On the way, you have the option to stop and visit a Maasai Boma or make a side trip to Olduvai Gorge (not included in price). We then enter into the Serengeti National Park through the Naabi Hill Gate and continue to the Central Serengeti, enjoying the wildlife along the way.

 

Seronera provides excellent year round game viewing, with Tanzania’s largest concentration of Lions, with 26 different prides in the area. We will spend these days exploring the area at your pace. Head out early for a game drive at sunrise, or opt to start a bit later leaving camp with a picnic lunch and spending the full day on game drive. Each day is yours to manage.

Day 5

Serengeti Full Day

An optional Hot Air Balloon Safari can be added (not included in price) to the tour any of the days in the Serengeti, providing a spectacular opportunity to view the game from the air.

 

Today you spend the whole day on game drive in this National Park, which is rich with all different species of animals. To maximize game viewing you will carry a picnic lunch with you and spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park.

Experience great annual wildebeest migration by visiting Mara River where the animals cross the River Mara going to Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya. At this wonderfully day expect to experience new breathtaking safari where you will see vast numbers of wildebeest ,zebras, gazzeles and some predators.

 

The principal features of the Serengeti are the short and long grass plains in the south and east, the acacia Savannah in the central areas, the hill and densely wooded areas in the north and the extensive woodland in the west. There is a variety of scenery, which include the plains, lakes, hills and the rock outcrops called kopjes. The main game drive areas in the Serengeti are the Seronera Valley, the Western Corridor, and northern Serengeti.

Day 6

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast at the Lodge we will enjoy a last enroute morning game drive. We then make our way back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lovers of anthropology will not miss the chance to stop to visit the Olduvai Gorge and its Museum, the cradle of humanity, where in 1959 Mary Leakey discovered a skull fragment that dates back 1.75 million years ago (optional, additional cost).

 

Ngorongoro crater

 

Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats.

Day 7

Karatu village to Lake Eyasi

Waking up with memorable moments and having great breakfast drive going to Lake Eyasi with different expectations because you’re going to experience another adventure see how people live in remote area with click language, dancing before practice some activities with those bush men’s like hunting singing and dancing.

After a leisurely Cultural activities drive back to Arusha arriving in good time overnight in Arusha tomorrow afternoon board your flight to the next chosen destination or You will be dropped off at the airport . Depending with your flight time you could have hot lunch at Arusha lodge or take packed lunch.
